Year 10 Boys Football – Narrow Defeat
The Year 10 boys football team faced Highgate in a tough Middlesex Cup match, battling hard in difficult conditions. Despite a man-of-the-match performance from Felix in goal, the team was denied a place in the semi-finals. With just 8 seconds to go, Highgate managed to score a last-gasp header from a corner, sealing a 0-1 defeat for Chiswick. A heart-breaking result but a valiant effort from the team!
Senior Netball – Dominant Victory
The Senior Netball Team put on a commanding performance, securing a 25-4 win against The Heathland School. From the first whistle, the team displayed excellent teamwork, precise passing, and sharp shooting. Their clinical attack and rock-solid defence ensured a dominant victory, highlighting their outstanding skills and cohesion. A brilliant team effort!
Year 7 Boys Basketball – Double Victory!
The Year 7 boys basketball team continues to impress with two fantastic wins in their recent fixtures:
- Chiswick vs Kingsley – 26-6
- Chiswick vs Gunnersbury – 30-14
The team showed exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork on the court. Their performances highlight their growth and potential as they build on their success. Well done, boys!
Year 9 Girls Football – Tournament Champions!
The Year 9 girls football team emerged victorious in their recent tournament, competing against Brentford, Cranford, Heathland, Bolder, and Heston. With a combination of incredible skill, determination, and teamwork, they fought through a series of matches to secure the championship title.
A huge congratulations to the team on this well-earned success—a fantastic achievement that showcases their hard work and commitment. Well done, girls!
Interform Netball Tournament: A Thrilling Showdown of Skill and Team Spirit!
The much-anticipated Interform Netball Tournament kicked off this week, bringing together fierce competition and boundless enthusiasm as teams from each tutor group battled it out to be the champions! With an atmosphere buzzing with energy and excitement, our players showcased not just their athleticism, but also their teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.
Each game was an exhilarating display of speed, strategy, and skill. From breath-taking interceptions to perfectly timed passes, the players left it all on the court. The crowd cheered with every goal scored, and each team demonstrated the power of unity as they worked together to execute their game plans.
Some players stood out for their exceptional performances. Whether it was an agile pivot dodging defenders, or a goal shooter displaying perfect accuracy. Special mention goes to Sophie 7KE, Bob 8BL and Riley 9GR for their relentless energy and leadership, inspiring their teammates to push forward, and to Grace 8BL and Molly 9GR for their impeccable shooting skills.
