BackChiswick School Celebrates Fantastic GCSE and Vocational Results
Chiswick School is proud to announce another year of exceptional GCSE results, reflecting the hard work, dedication, and resilience of our students, staff, and the wider school community.
Students have demonstrated remarkable academic achievement, with a significant number achieving top grades across a broad range of subjects. These results not only showcase the academic excellence that Chiswick School continues to uphold but also highlight the holistic development of our students, who have thrived in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Headteacher, Laura Ellener, expressed immense pride in the students' accomplishments, stating, "These results are a testament to the perseverance, determination, and ambition of our students, who have navigated their academic journey with grace and maturity. I am equally proud of our dedicated staff, whose unwavering commitment to providing high-quality education has been instrumental in our students' success. We are thrilled to celebrate these achievements, which reflect the collective effort of our entire school community."
Amongst the 210 students 30% of grades have been awarded at Grade 7-9. History grades were particularly impressive with 20% of all students achieving the top Grade 9. Nationally 67.6% of grades awarded were Grade 4 to 9 and at Chiswick School this is significantly higher at 80%.
Eight students achieved straight Grade 8s and 9s with some incredible individual success stories including Leo who not only achieved seven Grade 9s and three Grade 8s but also an A* in A Level maths despite sitting this early with his GCSE examinations!
Looking ahead, Chiswick School will continue to build on this success, ensuring that all students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to excel in their future endeavours. A record number of students from all over schools in London enrol at Chiswick School Sixth form which has developed a reputation for achieving excellent results and supporting students to move onto Russell Group Universities.
Graham McNamara the schools Deputy Headteacher said “A record number of Chiswick Students achieved the grade requirements to attend the Chiswick School Sixth Form, where students also gained excellent A Level and Vocational results this summer. Chiswick School remains committed to fostering an environment where every student can achieve their full potential, both academically and personally. The success in this regard is evident not only in our students' examination results but also in their growth as confident, responsible, and engaged members of society.”
