CHAPS

The Chiswick High Achievers Programme (CHAPs) is designed to support our students to become ambitious towards and proud of both their curricular and extra-curricular development. We aim to offer a range of activities both inside and outside of school to supplement students learning and development, whilst also ensuring that quality-first teaching drives them towards academic success in the classroom.

In the current academic year, CHAPs have attended visits to prestigious universities including Oxford, UCL and Goldsmiths, and participated in events including the British Academy Summer Showcase and talks at the Royal Geographical Society. We also work with the Scholars Programme, run by the Brilliant Club, to help Key Stage Three and Four students engage with academic research and writing at university-style levels.

Each half-term a newsletter is issued detailing a range of opportunities available to students run by prominent outside agencies to encourage their participation in learning outside of the curriculum.
