Highlights from Performing Arts
The Performing Arts department has been very busy with exams for the past month, six exams across Years 10, 11 12 and 13! So it was nice to start to perform publicly again after a short break.
The show was a "Musicals" evening performed at The Tabard theatre, to a full house. The evening was a combination of songs and dances from musicals such as Chess, Wicked, Spring Awakening, Sweeny Todd, Funny Girl and many others. In total the cast performed 14 items across all year groups.
There wasn't really a stand out moment in the production with everybody in the audience having their own favourite. All the year groups performed extremely well, and in what has become a trademark of what we do, performed together.
We are now looking forward to our summer program, with five productions planned: 3 Sisters, Government Inspector, Review and New, Pub in the park Musicals and our final Show Wizard of Oz!
