BackUCAS Discovery Day
The entire Year 12 cohort went on an educational trip to Farnborough to attend a highly anticipated UCAS Discovery Event, which was designed to help navigate their future academic and career paths. The event featured talks from representatives of renowned universities from across the country, providing students with a wealth of information about higher education options.
Throughout the day, the pupils engaged enthusiastically with the University ambassadors, asking insightful questions that demonstrated their keen interest and proactive approach to planning their futures. These interactions covered a range of topics, including course specifics, university life, application tips, and career prospects post- graduation. The representatives from the universities were impressed by the students' curiosity and preparedness, offering detailed responses and personal anecdotes to enrich the discussions.
Beyond the talks, the event also featured various interactive stalls which allowed pupils to explore potential career pathways, and gather valuable resources to aid in their decision-making processes.
