Year 7 finished the term on a high with a visit to Roehampton University. Right on our doorstep, this university has woods, a lake, a Grade II listed building and a fake courtroom! The students had a great day out, learning all about what universities are and how university study works. They did a range of activities all about student life, including an eye-opening competition to put a duvet cover on a duvet...! The day ended with a tour of the university facilities, including a visit to the chickens who provide eggs for the student-run cafe! All in all, it was a great day out and gave our Year 7s a fantastic insight into one of the options they will have when they finish their Chiswick School journey.
