Maximise Your Potential
On 22nd April, 120 KS3 students took part in a workshop delivered by Maximize Your Potential.
The speaker of the session did a great job at engaging the students. The student feedback was extremely positive with over 95% of the students agreeing that they had learnt some valuable revision techniques which they will implement ahead of the upcoming end of year assessments. Jasper the guest speaker ended the workshop with a final few key pointers:
- Remember we are visual animals - so avoid visual distractions and turn it into a strength by revising in colour
- Don’t forget - revision doesn’t mean we improve every time, but we proved that it definitely does make us improve over time
- Thinking positively is easy to say but sometimes tricky to do but if you push yourself to recognise the positives, your brain is more efficient
- You throw away marks when you misread questions. Read questions twice - every time - and make sure you answer the question set!
