On Thursday 23rd November, 30 Year 7 students had the opportunity to go to the British Library to attend the Fantasy: Realms of Imagination exhibition. During the visit the group was split into two where they had an activity work sheet that they all had to complete with the help of a member of staff from the library. The aim of the visit was to inspire and help the students to explore the realms of imagination to develop and incorporate different aspects that can contribute to an imaginative piece of creative writing. This consisted of character development, exploring settings and a variety of different ways to create a great piece of writing.
