BackYear 13 Geography Trip to Slapton Ley
In September, the Year 13 Geography students travelled to Slapton Ley, Devon for five days to develop their A Level knowledge. The students visited different areas to understand coastal processes and to investigate the diverse community of Plymouth.
Students really enjoyed the trip, which was their first Geography trip since Year 7 and engaged very well with the Field Studies Centre tutor. Aside from the academic work, there were the competitions: students tried to beat Mr Chavda at table tennis (they could not), the students tried to beat Mr Chavda at card games (they could not), and the students tried to beat Mr Chavda at Jenga (they could not). The students’ fantastic behaviour and engagement was a real testament to the school and they showed a great attitude throughout the whole trip.
