On Thursday 26th September, we took ten of our most creative Year 8 students to Chiswick Business Park to find out what happens in the Creative Team at the world famous Discovery Channel. 

They met the Head of the Creative Team and Head of Production who spoke to the students about their day-to-day roles, how they got their roles and most importantly, how they come up with TV show ideas for the channel. 

Students then came up with TV show ideas focusing on teen gossip, motors and how to stay alive in order to win £1million in prize money. 

Feedback was amazing from the students and the Discovery Channel staff, so there will be many more trips like this to come!
