Year 8 Dance Day

Our Year 8 students took a step into the spotlight during Dance Day. The day was packed with energy as every student participated in workshops spanning five styles of dance: Contemporary, Hip Hop, Bollywood, African, and Musical Theatre.

The workshops were led by renowned professionals from the dance industry, including representatives from Boy Blue, Ballet Rambert, and Luna Dance Academy, who shared their expertise and passion for Dance. Chiswick’s very own BTEC Performing Arts students also led a Musical Theatre session which was extremely well received and delivered. Each session offered students the chance to explore new movements and be brave to challenge their abilities.

The day concluded with an inspiring careers talk by Felipe Pacheco, a talented Brazilian-British actor, whose journey in the performing arts world captivated the student’s. Felipe’s experiences and insights provided a glimpse into the life of a professional performer

Year 8 Dance Day was not just an opportunity to learn new skills, but also a celebration of the diversity and joy that dance brings to our lives. We are incredibly proud of our students’ enthusiasm and creativity throughout the day!
