Year 11 Headteacher’s Welcome & Study Skills Parents’ Session by Elevate Education

The Headteacher's Welcome Meeting and Study Skills Parents’ Session is scheduled for Monday 14th September at 6pm. This meeting will take place via Zoom (and not at school). Mrs Ellener and I look forward to welcoming you to the Zoom call. We will share a short presentation with you and will then answer any questions you might have. Please send any questions through to enquiries@chiswickschool.org by 2pm on Monday if possible.
Following the student Study Skills Session on the first day of term we are delighted to welcome Elevate Education to the Zoom call to help give you tips and advice on how to support your child through
their GCSE Exams. The session will cover the following areas:
- how parents can help their children effectively manage their time
- how parents can help their children become motivated and stay motivated
- the different types of work students should prioritise across the year to maximise results
- how parents can help children work effectively with technology whilst minimising distractions such as social media sites.
