I came to Chiswick and I didn't feel like I really wanted to anything performance-wise. I lost all touch with it after primary school, I had quit piano lessons, and I didn't like to perform, though I still had a huge appreciation for music in general. In Y8 I was asked to be in a band, and I didn't really want to be put together with people I didn't know doing something I'd never really done before, but my music teacher used to collect me every week from my maths lesson on Wednesday to encourage me to come along to rehearsals. After a few months I was really enjoying it, I was getting to know my bandmates better and we had our first show March 29th 2022. I felt really excited for what might come.

By the end of 2022 we were told we could have our own show, and we did 11 songs, in the big hall, and we were the main event, not just a supporting act. I remember 150 people in the crowd screaming, shouting, singing along and having a great time. Since then I have been performing in multiple bands, choirs and other groups as well as solo performances. I've taught myself the guitar and written a few of my own songs. Since being at Chiswick I am now sure that my future belongs in the music world, and the Harry of year 7 is now a distant figure that I can hardly recognise.
