Lucy Hull Alumni - Class of 2016

My name is Lucy and I graduated from Chiswick School in 2016. I went on to St Chad’s College at Durham University, studying Ancient, Mediaeval and Modern History and graduated in 2019 with a 2:1. I had a great time at Durham, and I really enjoyed moving away from London and living in a different part of the country. The college system also means that you start with a pre-built community of students and lots of events with them. I got to try out lots of new sports, get involved in promoting social mobility, and we had proper snow, which was amazing!

 

After graduating I joined the Civil Service, where I have now worked for over a year. Currently I am in a team focusing on European liaison and policy; I find it a really rewarding job where I have very varied days.
